Cultural Spotlight on Japan

This introductory session is aimed at anyone in today’s workforce requiring improved skills to communicate, operate and collaborate with colleagues, clients, customers, suppliers or stakeholders, in Japan.

International business people and assignees, whether remote or co-located, require self-awareness and in-depth cultural knowledge (or intelligence) of the ways in which a different culture approaches business and business relationships. In order to build stronger relationships, make culturally informed decisions and work more effectively, it is important to appreciate cultural sensitivities and to understand the business implications resulting from the impact of different cultural attitudes, values, beliefs, and communication and work styles.

Being able to recognise cultural differences, and work with them, is the key to successful international working relationships.

All the information is very useful.  Invaluable training, so well presented by the trainer. An excellent session that has given me much greater insight into the country.’”
