Cultural Awareness and the HR Function
Diversity in the workplace is constantly increasing, requiring HR professionals to be able to identify, manage, develop and retain talent regionally as well as globally.
Our in-depth experiential workshop will focus on HR specific challenges like interviewing and assessing candidates across cultures, understanding what motivates people at work, how they like to be managed or manage others, how they act in team situations and how they react in situations where they are evaluated or faced with conflict. All this requires HR to constantly adapt their approach as people will present themselves differently according to cultural conventions, and react differently, particularly in times of stress, according to their, often subconscious, underlying cultural values.
This workshop will provide key insights to understanding and managing such dynamics across cultures. We will utilise discussion groups, role play and brain storming to provide you with tools and strategies for immediate use.
