Heike is a German born intercultural trainer and consultant who has lived and worked in the UK for many years. She holds a degree in English and French form the University of Heidelberg, a Postgraduate Diploma in Intercultural Management from the University of Cambridge and a Practitioner Diploma in Executive Coaching from the Academy of Executive Coaching in London.
She has worked in the IT industry for several years, starting on the technical side and later moving across into marketing and sales. Heike has worked in the UK and in Germany and has intensive experience working with the US and Switzerland.
Over the past thirteen years, she has designed and delivered intercultural training as well as other management training across a wide range of industries, from pharmaceuticals to IT, and has worked with groups and individuals of all levels of the client’s organisation, from recent graduates through to CEOs. She has facilitated training and coaching courses for companies and individuals from North and South America, Europe and Asia. Furthermore, she advises companies on the impact of their international marketing and communications campaigns.
With qualifications in Intercultural training, Psychology, NLP, Training quality and Communication, Matthew has worked with more than 15,500 executives in 25 countries representing more than 70 nationalities. He is a senior intercultural trainer, facilitator, author and coach, who trains in the UK, Europe and beyond, via face to face training, coaching calls and webinars. His methods centre on awakening audiences to their powerful inner resources, releasing the potential and full working capability of their teams.
He has worked with such companies as SAP, Tesco, Kimberly-Clark, Total, Motorola, GE Capital, Swedish Steel, Vodafone, Orange, AXA Insurance, Renault, the British Army, Unilever, Nike, Deutsche Bank, Chevrolet and Proctor & Gamble.
His core training content includes; raising cultural awareness, leadership in a multicultural environment, teams and virtual team building, cross-cultural and intercultural conflict resolution, international negotiation, international change management, problem solving and decision making and influencing without authority.
A senior cross-cultural trainer specialising in Britain, and cross-cultural issues. Paul graduated from the University of Durham with a BA degree in Geography & Anthropology of the Middle East.
After a period following University working in the health care business in Zimbabwe and South Africa, he was relocated to the UK. He has held a number of commercial roles within GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) in Kenya, Egypt and Nigeria, including as Marketing Manager responsible for GSK’s Marketing Planning in Saudi Arabia, the Levant, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Oman. He then relocated to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia with his wife and three young children as Director of Marketing for the GSK/Saudi Import Company Joint Venture. Wanting a different perspective with both a new Company and lifestyle, his next move was to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates with the Swedish Health-Care company Astra AB, ultimately becoming AstraZeneca’s General Manager for the Gulf States, Jordan and Lebanon.
Paul has worked as a specialist training consultant focussing on cross -cultural issues, and retains consultancy roles within the health care sector both in Europe and the Middle East. He continues to visit the Middle East and South Africa regularly for both business and pleasure.
Petra has over fifteen years’ experience as a consultant in major international tax companies, human resources and corporate identity management consultancies in Germany, Poland and currently the UK. Former employers include EY, Hoechst AG, KPMG, Abbott, Nicholson International, Henrion and Ludlow & Schmidt. Petra has lived and worked in several countries holding various managerial positions. As a result, she gained hands-on experience of the opportunities and challenges faced in leadership and management in a variety of settings. Petra has designed and delivered many managerial skill and cross-cultural management training courses for all industry sectors, in several countries. Her projects combine managerial skills and competency development with an intercultural aspect, e.g. communication across borders, working successfully in multicultural teams, recruitment, selection and placement in a global context, managing intercultural meetings, problem solving and decision-making. Furthermore, her executive and team coaching approaches are based on several licensed tools which help to identify managerial development gaps and improve delegates’ effectiveness. Petra speaks German, English, French and basic Polish and Arabic. German born, she has lived in Egypt and Poland and, currently, in the UK and has worked in Central and Eastern Europe, North Africa, the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
